I’m Kat... an illustrator and comic creator living in London.
I’m also head of marketing for Avery Hill Publishing.

I published eight issues of a zine called Katzine
which won ‘best ongoing series’ in the Broken Frontier Awards.
In 2022 I was a judge in the Alternative Publishing category
of the AOI’s World Illustration Awards.
 
I have two graphic novels out with Avery Hill Publishing - 
Follow Me In (2018) and Breakwater (2020) and am currently working on a third.

In 2018 Follow Me In won ‘best graphic non-fiction’ in the Broken Frontier Awards and in 2020 Breakwater was on the New York Times list of best graphic novels of the year.

Breakwater was named as one of the New York Times’ best graphic novels of 2020. 
Follow Me In won the Broken Frontier award for Best Graphic Non-fiction in 2018.
It was included on best-of-year lists from Pipedream Comics, Gosh Comics, Your Chicken Enemy, Multiversity Comics,
The Quietus, Wine & Zine, The Awesome Comics Podcast, Comics News Insider and the Comics Journal.

Katzine won the Broken Frontier award for Best Ongoing Series in 2017.
